Amanda Landrum received her B.A. from Alfred University in 2010. She majored in Sociology and Comparative Cultures and minored in women’s Studies and French. While at Alfred, Amanda was a captain of the Women’s Lacrosse and Soccer teams, a research assistant, and a member of the Women’s Leadership Academy.

Amanda received her J.D./M.S.W., Magna Cum Laude, at University at Buffalo in May of 2014. Throughout her time at UB, she worked on the Buffalo Journal of Gender, Law and Social Policy. Amanda’s social work background sparked an interest in mediation, and she was successful in Representation in Mediation Competitions. She served as treasurer for the Domestic Violence Task Force and participated in the Women’s Children and Social Justice Clinic. Her steady pursuit of pursues social justice for vulnerable populations and gave rise to internships with Children’s Legal Services, Mid-Missouri Legal Services, and Prisoner’s Legal Services.

After graduating from law school, Amanda moved to Mid-Missouri with her Husband. She became a member of the Missouri Bar in 2014 and began her career in specialized foster care working for Missouri Alliance for Children and Families. She joined the Cole County Prosecutor’s office in March 2014 and is assigned child support cases in Cole, Callaway, and Maries counties.
