The Cole County Sheriff’s Department would like to invite everyone to “Everyone Walks for RACS” event on August 4th, from 5:30 – 9:00 pm. This event will be at 105 West High St, Jefferson City, MO.
Many men, women, and children are injured or killed each year by acts of domestic violence. Each person has their own unique story. Join your Rape Abuse Crisis Service (RACS) in a walk around Downtown Jefferson City, Missouri where Everyone Walks to advocate awareness and change. Victims and survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault will be honored at the family event. Help us end the silence and promote hope, help and healing.
Everyone Walks for RACS this year... men, women, and kids! Start time for the walk is 6:30pm.
There will be music, food, fun and awareness.
There is no fee to walk this year and we'll have High Heels available for rent. Heels are not required but they are encourage. We'll have prizes for the best shoes and for most money raised.
So get started now! Make plans to support RACS.
