The Cole County Department of Public Works would like to advise the motoring public that Boise Brule Road from Route H to Grove Road will be under construction and open to local traffic only. Beginning on Monday July 18th, a contractor for the County will begin constructing a new roadbed starting at the Route H end working toward the west.
This project is part of the overall project to upgrade Boise Brule Road and Swift Road from Route H near Henley to Hwy 54 near Eugene. The roads will be upgraded from gravel to asphalt. Other sections will be closed at different times throughout the duration of the project which is expected to be completed by this December.
Motorists should expect delays if traveling on this road and the area should be avoided if possible.
The Cole County Department of Public Works would like to apologize for any inconvenience that the construction may cause. Any questions in reference to this work or the road closure should be directed to Public Works at 636-3614.
