On Sunday, March 24, 2019, at approximately 1:00 pm, a Cole County Sheriff’s Department Deputy initiated a traffic stop for expired vehicle registration (2018) on HWY 54 near Brown Road. The vehicle stop resulted in the seizure of syringes and approximately $20,000 of Anabolic Steroids, without a prescription.
The subject was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Cole County Jail. He was booked for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and posted a $5,000 preset bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
