On 12/21/2017 at 08:46 am, members of the MUSTANG Drug Task
Force, Cole County Sheriff’s Department, and the Jefferson City Police
Department SWAT Team served a narcotic search warrant at 1400 Westview Drive.
During the investigation, MUSTANG Officers arrested five subjects. A total of
129 grams of methamphetamine were recovered along with marijuana and
prescription pills.
The following subjects were
arrested on scene and are formally charged in the Cole County Jail:
-James Morris – Trafficking in Drugs (Meth), $50,000 bond.
-Kathryn Wilson – Trafficking in Drugs (Meth), $50,000
bond.
-Tyler Roman Strope – Trafficking in Drugs and Unlawful Use
of a Weapon (Meth), $50,000 bond.
-James Earl Whitney was arrested on scene for two
outstanding warrants and charges sent to
the prosecutor for Possession of a Stolen Firearm
-A 15 year old male was transported to the Prenger Center
for Delivery of Controlled
Substance (Meth)
Information obtained from
this investigation, led MUSTANG Drug Task Force Officers to work with members
of the MID Mo Drug Task Force and were able to obtain two other search warrants
that were served late last night in Osage County. As a result of those search
warrants more methamphetamine was seized along with several arrests.
The investigation continues.
