FRIENDSHIP ROAD BOX CULVERT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT TO
BEGIN

Construction work to replace the Friendship Road Box Culvert over Herbrandt Branch will begin on Monday, January 29th, weather permitting. GWH Landscape Contracting, LLC was awarded the $203,000 project by the County Commission in December. During construction, Friendship Road will be closed from Dogwood Trail to Ashbury Way to thru traffic. Signs will be in place to alert the traveling public when the road is closed. The motoring public is asked to avoid this area and use alternate routes for the next several months while crews are working.

The existing culvert was on MoDOT’s BRO listing as a structurally deficient bridge.
The project is scheduled to last through the winter and spring with a completion date in May, 2024.
