Community Outreach & Training

Cole County Emergency Medical Services prides itself in being part of the Cole County community. If you would like to have a member of our staff speak at you function please call (573) 301-5339 to submit your request.

If you would like our team to bring an ambulance for a show-and-tell at your event, birthday party, school, business, or other event, please fill out the EMS Public Relations Form.

If you need a dedicated ambulance on stand-by for an event for medical care, please fill out the EMS Standby Request Form. For dedicated units, there is a fee to cover the cost of providing this service. Non-Profit events will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for waiver of the fees.

Public CPR & First Aid Training

Cole County Emergency Medical Services is dedicated to improving the lives of our citizens. One way we can accomplish this goal is though training members of the community in CPR and First Aid. If you or your organization would like our EMS Professionals to teach a course in CPR and/or First Aid or if you have any questions, contact our Training Division at (573) 634-5678, or you can send an email by clicking here. 

Below is a list of courses CCEMS currently offers our citizens and organizations. If our current courses do not meet your needs, let us know and we will be happy to research the possibility of conducting course tailored to your needs.

AHA Healthcare Provider CPR
This classroom, Instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics.  This course is for medical professionals working in a healthcare setting.

AHA Heartsaver CPR
This classroom, Instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics.  This course is for medical professionals working in a healthcare setting.

*cost of certification card is not included.  If a certification card is required or desired, a fee of $15 will be charged.
