Credit Cards
As a convenience to our taxpayers the Collector’s office now accepts Discover and MasterCard credit cards for payment of taxes in the office. All credit card companies charge a fee for the convenience of allowing credit cards to be used. This fee is charged to your credit card when you pay your taxes by credit card. This fee is not retained by the collector or the county. Therefore, no tax dollars are used to subsidize the convenience of using a credit card to pay property taxes.
