- You can vote an Absentee Ballot in our office. Absentee voting begins six weeks prior to an election. Our office hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:00 - 4:30 and the Saturday before the election from 8:00 - 12:00. If you are away from the county on Election Day or for an extended period of time, you can request an Absentee Ballot be mailed to you by filling out the Absentee Ballot Request Form below.* Please note - If you're going to be absent on Election Day and request an Absentee Ballot through the mail, your signature on the Absentee Ballot envelope needs to be notarized before we can accept it. Absentee Ballot requests must be received in our office by 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday two weeks prior to Election Day if the ballot is to be mailed. The deadline for absentee voting in person in the office of the election authority is 5:00 p.m. on the day before the election.
