Position Opening: Environmental Public Health Specialist

The Cole County Health Department has an opening for a full-time Environmental Public Health Specialist. This position will primarily be responsible for enforcement of the Cole County Ordinances.  Duties include, but are not limited to: Conduct initial, routine and special circumstance environmental health inspections at regulated facilities (i.e. food, lodging, childcare) and residences. Investigate and enforce water, wastewater and code ordinance concerns.

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Public Health, or other applicable field of study (substitutions for experience will be considered).
