The Cole County Prosecuting Attorney's Office is located on the 3rd floor of the Cole County Courthouse Annex in the heart of Jefferson City, just blocks from the Missouri Capitol and the Missouri River. We prosecute cases ranging from relatively minor traffic and misdemeanor offenses to serious felonies.

A prosecuting attorney strives for justice above all else; we recognize and uphold the constitutional rights of all people in the courts of the State of Missouri including those accused of crimes.

To efficiently and effectively prosecute criminal offenses, the office employs 9 assistant prosecuting attorneys, an investigator, and three victim advocates including the RACS victims' advocate and VOCA victim advocates, and a dozen support staff members.
