Presiding Commissioner Marc H. Ellinger

Born and raised in Cole County, I attended Jefferson City Public Schools, graduating from Jefferson City High School. I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia graduating with a degree in accounting and a law degree. I am an attorney and certified public accountant, having served as legal counsel to the State Auditor and being in private legal practice since 1999.

My wife, Christine, and I were married in 1994 and we have two boys We are members of St. Peter’s Parish in Jefferson City. I also serve on the Board of Directors of the Jefferson City YMCA, Associated Industries of Missouri and the Great Rivers Council of the Boy Scouts.

As a life-long resident of Cole County, I know Cole County offers tremendous opportunities to our residents, to businesses and to new businesses and residents coming to our community. As Presiding Commissioner, I want to help all of us seize those opportunities and make Cole County a thriving community for all our benefit.

I am honored, to serve as the Presiding Commissioner of Cole County . Together we will continue to make Cole County the best place to live, work, play and raise a family.

Eastern District Commissioner Mike Forck

In 2000 Mike Forck was elected to a four-year term as Eastern District Commissioner of Cole County. This is the third term Mike has served, the second being a four-year term in 1996 and the first a two-year term in 1994.

Mike is a graduate of Fatima and attended Lincoln University. He is a licensed real estate agent for the State of Missouri and works with Gratz Realty and is a member of the Jefferson City Board of Realtors. He is a grain farmer and also raises replacement heifers for a dairy in New Mexico.

He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Special Events Committee and the Agri-Business Committee, Member of Cole County Farm Bureau and State Association and County Board of Directors, and is Vice-President of Cole Junction Levee District. He is a member of the Jefferson City Host Lions Club, Toas Knights of Columbus Council 6430, American Lion Roscoe Enlow Post#5 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Post#2693.

Mike is a life-long resident of Cole County. He and his wife Mary Jane live in Toas and have three children. They are members of St. Francis Xavier Church. Mike is very devoted towards the betterment of Cole County as a whole. He is a Commissioner with the county's best interest always at heart.
