Mail in Registration Application

You need to only register once. If you move, (within the county), you must fill out the change address on the back of your voter ID card or come into the County Clerk's Office. If your name changes, (i.e. marriage, divorce, etc.), you need to come in and sign a new permanent card that the county clerk keeps on file.

The Cole County Clerk's Office will send you a voter ID card when you register to vote. Our office also sends out new voter identification cards every two years to all our active registrants. If you haven't received your card, you should call our office at 573-634-9106. If you have received your card but the information is incorrect, you may fill out the back of the card and mail it in. Changing your address before election day will save you time at the polls.
