Election Judges
The Cole County Clerk's Office is in need of election judges to staff our 38 polling places for the countywide elections throughout the year. Election judges are currently needed in your area. In order to serve, you must declare one of the two major political parties, and be a registered voter in Cole County.

The pay is $85.00 per day ($95 for Supervisors). In addition, you will be paid $8 for attending a 30-45 minute training session per election. The workday begins at 5:15 a.m. and ends after the polls close at 7:00 p.m.

Our free and open elections are a constant reminder of the endurance and vitality of our democracy. The service each of us contributes is a necessary part of the election process.

If you are interested in becoming an election judge please call our office at 573-634-9185 or print the application and mail it to:
